Dave Asheim is a veteran of up-and-coming technology and software providers with 11 years of mobile technology experience. Before founding Guide by Cell, Give by Cell’s parent company, in 2004, he was President of Well Engaged, the largest B2B software provider of web-based chat and discussion software and the pioneers of pre-Google/Facebook social networking. He launched Guide by Cell with the initial goal of bridging the gap between cultural institutions and their patrons, and the business has since expanded to offer mobile technologies to solve a wide variety of problems faced not only by cultural institutions and nonprofit organizations, but government agencies, retailers, major corporations and more. Dave holds a B.S. in finance and an M.B.A., both from the University of Illinois.

As Office Manager for Give by Cell and its sister divisions, Paul is in charge of billing and finance for all clients, as well as day-to-day human resources duties for the team.
Vice President of Engineering
David works with our IT staff on all software development, implementation plans and project direction. He is an experienced Software Developer/Programmer and has worked with teams in Canada, China and the United States. He is a graduate of Shenyang University of Technology with a B.S. in computer science.
Senior Software Engineer
Jun joined our team in 2005 with a background in Interactive Voice Response systems. He received a B.A. from Shanghai University.
Sharon joined our engineering team with a background in all aspects of software development, including analysis, design, testing and deployment. She has worked with clients such as Ericsson, HP and Honda on building enterprise applications. Sharon holds an M.S. in computer science from California State University at Sacramento.
Lead Telco Software Engineer
For over 17 years, Kent has designed and built interactive communications solutions for organizations in the US, Canada and overseas, with a focus on telephony and the integration of Interactive Voice Response (IVR) applications and Web technologies. He has worked in unified messaging, patient information delivery, security solutions, and voice and text message applications for e-commerce transactions and is an expert in the telco field.
TG joined our team in 2010 and manages the hardware components. He has 15 years of experience as a network engineer. TG graduated from the University of Hawaii with a B.S. in mechanical engineering.

Gabe joins Give by Cell after 14 years of selling and building sales teams in the IT services and software industry. Working with business clients and government agencies of all sizes to solve their unique technology needs, Gabe’s focus is on helping companies identify and leverage technology to allow them to focus on their core business. Gabe has a Bachelors degree in Business Management from California State University, Fresno.
Senior Solutions Consultant
A native of Lafayette, CA, Dustin received his B.A. in Psychology from CSU Sacramento. He has experience with non-profit organizations through an internship with United Cerebral Palsy in Orange County, and has also gained customer interaction experience in his multiple years in the restaurant industry.
Leela Rose Romano has over nine years of consultative solution sales experience. She’s lived in the Bay Area for three years, but still has not figured out when to leave her jacket at home. At Give by Cell, she quickly helps our current partners and clients achieve their goals with her high touch approach to our technology solutions.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Tyler has a background in marketing and has worked in the sports research and finance industries. He assists in the sales, marketing and administrative aspects at Give by Cell. He is also a huge fan of the 49ers, and you can find him on Sundays watching his team.

Originally from Ukraine, Yana received her undergraduate degree from San Francisco State University, where she majored in International Business/International Economic Relations. She assists the administrative and sales team in their daily duties and helps to maintain client networking. She is also fluent in English, Russian and Ukrainian.
Katherine is a constant creator of marketing campaigns and promotional strategies, and has over 9 years of experience in online and offline marketing. Just like you, she believes that while desktops and laptops were once the most important products in the industry, Smartphones, tablets and even lightweight notebooks are now the major players that are reshaping the industry. A student herself, Katherine is an advocate of connecting people of like-minds and interests around the world through mobile technology
